Motor1 on the street-legal GXR-Evo — a 455-hp track car that starts at over $1 million. Motor1 on the street-legal GXR-Evo — from over $1 million.

Motor1 calls the GXR-Evo a street-legal race car with a seven-figure starting price — carbon fiber everywhere, a 4.0-liter flat-six in the rear, and hardware built to chase lap times.

Jeff Glucker walks the conversion from a 993-generation 911: 12k 2x2 carbon bodywork, a massive splitter and canards, a high rear wing, and an integrated shark-fin where the rear glass used to be. Power is 455 horsepower at nearly 9,000 rpm through a reworked Getrag six-speed, in a car Motor1 places just under 2,400 pounds.

The cabin is race-first: Motec display, quick-release wheel, Schroth harness, OMP fire suppression, air jacks, and helmet cooling. Chassis pieces include Brembo Pista brakes, center-lock wheels, and a custom JRZ setup.

Fifteen examples will be built. Each comes with a matching MYSIM rig. Read the full story on Motor1.
