F-26
The F-26 Program
Gunther Werks remasters the air-cooled Porsche® 993 with its most extreme build yet, the F-26 Program. Fusing the analog purity of its naturally aspirated creations with the brute force of a 1,000-hp Porsche® Mezger engine, the F-26 Program pays homage to the iconic 930 Flachbau while pushing performance into the future. Crafted almost entirely from carbon fiber, it delivers cutting-edge aerodynamics, track-honed handling, and bespoke interiors - limited to just 26 examples worldwide.
Limited to 26 Examples.
With production capped at just 26 examples worldwide, the F-26 Program, is as rare as it is radical. Each build will be individually commissioned, allowing owners to tailor every detail from materials to finishes, ensuring no two cars are alike. This extreme level of exclusivity not only amplifies collectability but also reinforces Gunther Werks’ philosophy of craftsmanship without compromise - making the F-26 Program a true centerpiece for the world’s most discerning enthusiasts and collectors.
Engine
At the heart of the F-26 Program lies a twin-turbo charged 4.0-liter Porsche® Mezger flat-six, co-developed with Rothsport Racing to deliver an astonishing 1,000 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a reinforced six-speed manual transmission, with the engine optimized for high-octane ethanol. Advanced features include adaptive fuel mapping, a motorsport-inspired flat-fan cooling layout, water-to-air charge cooling, and a 935-style exhaust with exposed external wastegates. Oversight comes from a custom-programmed Motec ECU, paired with a dedicated power distribution module (PDM) that ties into the CAN bus for seamless integration across all core systems.
Body
The F-26 Program is sculpted entirely from carbon fiber, with its dramatic front end paying tribute to the iconic Porsche® 930 Flachbau and 935 racers. Beyond its striking presence, every element is engineered for performance - fixed headlights improve aerodynamics, reshaped ducts and cooling channels enhance airflow and thermal management, and integrated aero components deliver greater downforce and stability at speed. The result is a body that fuses heritage-inspired design with cutting-edge function, embodying both style and purpose.
Technical Specifications
Revolutionary Power Precision
Power is supplied by Gunther Werks' air-cooled twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter flat-six engine, co-developed by Rothsport Racing. It produces 1,000 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque and connects to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Keeping the engine cool is a race-derived flat fan, which provides more than double the volume of air than a standard vertical fan, but more significantly provides even cooling to all six cylinders. Additional upgrades include an all-new carbon fiber airbox, a redesigned intercooler plenum and integrated blowoff valves within the intake system. F-26 runs on high-octane ethanol with adaptive fuel mapping for standard high-octane gasoline. Lightweight carbon fiber charge pipes feed the engine with the charged air to ensure the best response for the turbos.
